2. Equipment design description:This device is designed to meet the requirements of various battery short-circuit test standards, and the short-circuit device must comply with the internal resistance range according to the standard requirements≤ 20m Ω or (5m Ω) to obtain the required maximum short-circuit current for the test; In addition, the circuit design of the short-circuit device must also be able to withstand the impact of high current. Therefore, we have selected industrial grade DC electromagnetic contactors, all copper terminals, and internal copper plates for guidance. The wide and thick copper plates effectively improve the heat dissipation effect, making the high current short-circuit device safer, effectively reducing the loss of testing equipment, and ensuring the accuracy of test data.
3 Control modes:The PLC human-machine interface control method is adopted, with the contactor of the People's Electrical Appliances as the switching element. The testing conditions are set on the PLC interface, and the contactor is closed and emits a strong short-circuit current to short-circuit the entire circuit, achieving the required current for the test. During the equipment process, the circuit resistance (i.e. contactor resistance+connection terminal wiring+battery fixture, all three are less than 20m Ω or 5m Ω). The maximum short-circuit current emitted by the contactor is 5000A, and the maximum short-circuit current that the test circuit can withstand is 5000A. The battery surface temperature, voltage change data, and current change data during the testing process are detected by the acquisition components and fed back to the PLC main control program.

Short circuit protection
The test object is the battery system.
All control systems of the test object are in working condition during the test.
Short circuit the terminals of the test object for 10 minutes.
The short-circuit resistance shall not exceed 20m Ω, as mutually agreed upon by both parties. Observe for 2 hours.
Requirement: The protective device is functioning and the battery system is leak free The shell has ruptured Phenomena such as fire or explosion. The insulation resistance after the test shall not be less than 100 Ω/v.
