-Product Overview:The Hash CL17/CL17D residual (total) chlorine detector uses the DPD colorimetric method to detect residual chlorine. With a built-in calibration curve, it automatically samples and analyzes every 2.5 minutes, compensates for turbidity and chromaticity, and diagnoses automatically. It is an online residual chlorine analyzer that can operate without human monitoring.
-Working principle:
The CL17/CL17D residual chlorine detection/determination instrument uses DPD (N, N-diethyl-1,4-phenylenediamine) colorimetric method to detect the concentration of chlorine. Due to the addition of buffer reagents, the sample is adjusted to a certain pH range, and DPD reacts with residual chlorine or total chlorine in the water sample to generate a purple red compound. The residual chlorine detector uses spectrophotometry to measure its absorbance changes and obtain the concentration of residual chlorine/total chlorine in the water sample.
