Electric migration salt removal EDI system
EDI is a revolutionary technology in water treatment. This technology applies the electric regeneration ion exchange desalination process to replace the traditional mixed ion exchange desalination process. The high desalination effect is achieved through ion exchange resin and selective ion membrane, and the combined process with reverse osmosis enables the water quality of the produced water to reach a high specification of 10-15M Ω·cm.
EDI adopts standard component design and can be combined into any system according to requirements, with a water production capacity of 1-450m3/h.
working principle
The raw water is supplied into the EDI system, with the main part flowing into the resin/membrane and the other part flowing along the outer side of the membrane plate to wash away the ions that have passed through the membrane.
Resin intercepts dissolved ions in water.
Under the action of the electrode, the trapped ions move towards the positive electrode, while the anions move towards the negative electrode.
Cations pass through the cation membrane and are expelled from the resin/membrane.
Anions pass through the anion membrane and are expelled from the resin/membrane.
The concentrated ions are discharged from the wastewater flow path.
Ionic free water flows out from the resin/membrane.

Warning: Avoid direct skin contact with chemicals. Please wear goggles and protective clothing.
Warning: To reduce chemical splashing, first release the pressure inside the chemical pipeline when disassembling it
Warning: Follow the safety instructions on the manufacturer's container label.
Attention: Before discharging water, check the pH value of the water and keep it within the permitted range.
Attention: Ensure that the module is powered off before cleaning.
