CO2 laser marking machine, also known as gas laser marking machine or carbon dioxide laser marking machine, is a gas laser with an infrared wavelength of 10.64um. It uses CO2 gas filled into a discharge tube as the medium for generating laser. When a high voltage is applied to the electrode, a glow discharge is generated in the discharge tube, which can release laser from gas molecules. The laser energy is amplified to form a laser beam for material processing. Automatic marking is achieved by controlling the galvanometer through a computer to change the laser beam path.
