Preparation work for large flow mining submersible pump before going down the well
1. Acceptance of the unit
Carefully inspect the receipt, bill of lading, and whether the goods comply with the requirements; Is there any fracture phenomenon in the unit; Check for any abnormal phenomena such as cable damage.
2. Lifting equipment and tools: There should be lifting equipment that can lift a height of more than 3 meters and withstand the entire weight of the unit, as well as installation tools and materials such as tripods, clamps, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, 500 megohmmeters, and insulating rubber self-adhesive tapes.
3. Check if the installation dimensions of the motor match those of the water pump, and if the motor power is appropriate.
When transporting the motor and pump head separately, they need to be assembled first. The steps are as follows:
A. Remove the upper casing of the water pump to expose the topmost impeller
B. Rotate the impeller by hand to see if it is flexible
C. Pull the impeller in the direction of the pump shaft to observe the total displacement of the impeller up and down (usually QJ4-6mm);
D. Install the coupling and integrate it with the motor, ensuring that the motor shaft head is aligned with the pump shaft head without any gap;
E. Check the clearance between the upper and lower runout of the impeller, which should be half of the total runout;
F. When the deviation is greater than 0.5mm, an adjusting shim should be added between the motor and the water pump shaft head, adjusted to the middle position, and the impeller should be flexible when rotated by hand;
G. Then drill the top screw hole of the coupling, tighten the top screw and install the upper shell;
H. When using a pry bar to move the coupling, it should rotate flexibly for qualified installation. Then install the filter screen and cable tray box.
5. Check whether the voltage and frequency of the power supply match the motor nameplate, whether the parameters of the control cabinet used match the motor, and whether the control cabinet should have protective measures such as phase loss, overload, overcurrent, short circuit, grounding, etc.
6. Check whether the power cable is damaged and whether its specifications are reasonable. Immerse the cable in water for 6 hours and measure its insulation resistance to ground with a 500V shake meter, which should not be less than 500 megaohms.
