EDI deionized water equipment:A new technology developed by combining the characteristics of electrodialysis and ion exchange. Compared with ordinary electrodialysis, the ion exchange resin filled in the dilution chamber greatly improves the conductivity between membranes, significantly enhances the migration of ions from the solution to the membrane surface, breaks the ion depletion phenomenon in the concentration retention layer on the membrane surface, and increases the maximum current density; Compared with ordinary ion exchange, due to the high potential gradient between the membranes, hydrolysis ions are forced to form H+and OH -. H+and OH - not only participate in the pre load current, but also have the function of in-situ regeneration of the resin. Therefore, EDI does not require resin regeneration, which can save the necessary acid-base storage tanks for ion exchange and reduce environmental pollution. Therefore, the EDI deionized water system has greater advantages than traditional mixed beds:
