1. Introduction

CK-T060 is a low-frequency RFID tag reader based on radio frequency identification technology, with a working frequency of 125KHZ. It supports reading tags that comply with international standard protocol formats such as EMID and FDX-B. The card reader integrates RF communication protocols internally, and users only need to receive data through the RS232/RS485 communication interface to complete tag reading operations without understanding complex RF communication protocols.
The card reader comes with an Auto turning automatic tuning circuit, which can automatically adjust the circuit parameters when working in different environments, minimizing the impact of external environment on the card reading distance and further enhancing its anti-interference ability. It has the characteristics of high receiving sensitivity, stable performance, and strong reliability.
Card readers can be widely used in logistics, warehouse management, process control, robotic arm station control, and other fields.

4. CK-T060A communication connection

CK-T060A is a high-frequency card reader based on RS485 and MODBUS communication protocols, which can support the networking of multiple card readers and can mount up to 32 CK-T060A on the bus at the same time.

4.1 Wiring Instructions

The CK-T060A terminal block is defined as follows:

4.3 CK-T060A Multi Machine Communication Wiring Diagram

CK-T060A supports multiple card readers to be mounted on the same bus simultaneously for multi machine networking. When multiple card readers are mounted on the bus, in order to improve communication reliability, 120 Ω matching resistors need to be externally connected at the front and rear ends of the bus. The wiring is as follows:

4.4 Selection of Communication Cables

In order to improve communication reliability and system EMI performance, users can choose shielded twisted pair cables as communication cables or RS485 communication dedicated cables.

4.5 Relationship between Communication Distance and Baud Rate

When using 0.56mm (24AWG) twisted pair wiring, the theoretical maximum transmission distance varies depending on the baud rate, as shown in the table below:

EMI and EMC

The mechanical structure of CK-T060 series modules determines that their EMI performance is inevitably different from integrated circuit design. The EMI performance of the series modules meets the requirements of the vast majority of application scenarios. If users have special requirements, they must contact us in advance.

The EMC performance of CK-T060 series modules is closely related to the design of the user's floor, especially the power circuit, I/O isolation, and reset circuit. Users must fully consider these factors when designing the motherboard. We will strive to improve the electromagnetic compatibility of the module, but do not provide any guarantee for the EMC performance of the user's final application product.

ESD electrostatic discharge protection

Some components of the CK-T060 series module are equipped with ESD protection circuits, but when the module is used in harsh environments, it is still recommended that users provide ESD protection measures when designing the substrate. When installing CK-T060 series modules, to ensure safety, please first release the static electricity accumulated on your body, such as wearing a reliably grounded static electricity ring; During the welding process, attention should also be paid to releasing static electricity, such as ensuring that the welding equipment is well grounded.
