Thermo Scientific Multiskan FC has a patented optical path design (patent number US6111636) with a wavelength range of 340nm-850nm, suitable for scientific research and clinical applications. Suitable plate types include 96 and 384 well plates to meet different flux requirements. When the instrument is started, the system will comprehensively detect various related parameters including the position of the carrier board, light source, and filter to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the results. FC comes with a standard oscillator and an optional incubator, with a maximum temperature of 50 ℃, which can meet the needs of enzyme activity measurement or cytology experiments. The large screen color LCD display and operation keyboard are easy to use, and data and programs can be stored in the instrument or exported through a USB flash drive. The powerful internal software has multiple language options, including Chinese and English. In addition, FC can also be connected to a computer to control and analyze experimental data using the more powerful SkanIt software. FC can also be compatible with automation for high-throughput detection.
