Olympus SZX10 Greenough Optical System
Flexible type with wide zoom ratioZoom stereomicroscope | dissecting microscope

The Olympus SZX10 stereomicroscope, as a flexible imaging tool suitable for routine research, can achieve dark field and polarized imaging with a maximum numerical aperture of 0.2, a zoom ratio of 10:1, and uses a Galilean optical system that minimizes distortion as much as possible.
Excellent optical performance and natural field of view
SZX10 can provide a natural view of the sample with excellent stereoscopic and color expression. The DFPlan series combines high numerical aperture resolution and work comfort with a "distortion free" optical design, enabling particularly flat imaging and providing a 2x objective with a numerical aperture of 0.2 for high-resolution imaging of 600 line pairs per millimeter.
10: 1. Wide zoom ratio
The 1x objective of SZX10 can cover a magnification range from 6.3x to 63x, while the 2x objective can provide up to 123x magnification. For life science applications that require both low magnification macroscopic field of view for dissection and specimen processing, as well as clear and high magnification field of view for close observation of cell structure, its 10:1 wide zoom ratio multifunctionality becomes an ideal choice for such applications.
An operational unit that can be quickly inspected
It can achieve a wide range magnification of 0.63-6.3 times without changing the lens. Both fixed magnification observation with card position and continuous zoom observation can be achieved, and an objective converter with two lenses can be loaded to obtain higher magnification observation. When shooting with a camera, the optical axis can be set vertically, unaffected by the direction of the sample, to obtain highly reliable observation and measurement results.
Rich product lineup, with the option to choose the desired objective lens
DFPL2x/DPFL1.5x /DFPL 0.75x /DFPL 0.5x
The DFPL series objective lens can accurately reproduce the shape of the sample with excellent color fidelity.
DFPLAPO 1.25x /DFPLAP01x4
After performing chromatic aberration correction, high performance can be achieved, including excellent resolution, good contrast, and image flatness with minimal distortion.
SZX-ACH1.25x /SZX-ACH1x
It is an objective lens that achieves a good balance between high resolution and ultra long working distance.
Ergonomic design and speed
Comfortable operating environment based on ergonomics
Based on ergonomics, pursue a comfortable operating environment for operators. The high-performance Olympus eyepiece has an ultra wide market, making it easy to observe 3D images for both short and long periods of time, thus reducing eye fatigue. Observation tubes with adjustable tilt angles of 5-45 ° up and down have been prepared for different height differences among operators.
automation
The SZX10 electric focusing drive makes depth of field extension technology (EFI) digital archiving more efficient and fully automated. Through this, it is even possible to create simulated 3D images, eliminating the gap between the document and the image seen by the eye through the stereoscope light path. In order to promote automated observation, Olympus software products provide various tools that can not only perform simple 2D measurements, but also perform complex analyses in an easy-to-use environment.
Diversified lighting units
The adoption of a thin LED transmission lighting base with high operability and economy reduces the thickness to half of the original transmission lighting device. Samples can be placed at a lower position during observation and homework to lower the viewpoint. It can be used for bright field, dark field, and polarized light observation, with approximately half the electricity consumption, making it cost-effective.
Rich lineup of reflective lighting products
Equipped with various reflective lighting devices such as circular lighting and coaxial reflective lighting. Suitable lighting environments can be selected based on the sample and its intended use.
In Greek mythology, Mount Olympus is the place where the twelve supreme gods reside. Olympus is named after this mountain, reflecting its strong desire to create world-renowned high-quality products.
Since the period of Takachiho Productions (predecessor of Olympus Corporation), the trademark "Olympus" has been used.
In Japanese mythology, it is said that there are eight million deities residing on the summit of Mount Takachiho, known as Takamagahara. The reason for choosing the word 'Olympus' as the trademark is precisely because Mount Olympus, like Mount Gochiho, is the home of gods. This trademark also carries Olympus' desire to light up the world with its optical equipment, just as Gaotian brought light to the world.
In 1942, Takachiho Manufacturing Company was renamed Takachiho Optics Co., Ltd., and optical products became the main pillar of the company. In 1949, it was renamed Olympus Optics Limited again with the aim of enhancing its corporate image.
In 2003, the company was renamed Olympus Corporation, demonstrating a desire to establish a vibrant corporate brand by unifying the company name and well-known brand.
In recent years, Olympus has focused on "optoelectronic digital technology" as its core competitiveness, which is a technological advantage that competitors cannot easily imitate, in order to maximize enterprise value and become a leading optical instrument manufacturer.
