Structural Description
The structure of PBG shielded pump is shown in the figure. This pump, also known as an electric pump, is a machine pump integrated structure. The whole machine mainly consists of pump body, impeller, connecting body, sliding bearing, stator, rotor, shielding sleeve, motor housing and other components. The pump is a vertical single-stage single suction centrifugal type, with the inlet and outlet on the same horizontal axis and the same inlet and outlet diameter specifications. It can be directly installed on any part of the pipeline like a valve, making installation extremely convenient and occupying less space. The pump is integrated with the motor through a connecting body, and the bearings are made of imported graphite impregnated resin composite bearings. The motor stator and rotor are each enclosed and isolated with shielding sleeves. The bearing adopts the pumped liquid itself as lubricant and coolant, which has the characteristics of reasonable design and feasible operation. The pump is equipped with a base, which can be directly installed on the foundation, or it can be installed with a connecting plate and an isolator or isolation pad.
The top of the pump is equipped with an automatic exhaust valve, which can automatically remove air without leaking the medium. The outlet of the pump is connected to the upper cover plate of the motor through a circulation pipe. After the pump is started, a portion of the medium can enter the motor part through the circulation pipe while conveying the medium, and then flow back to the inlet to cool the motor and lubricate the bearings. Installation Instructions
1. Before installation, check whether the fasteners of the unit are loose and whether there are foreign objects blocking the flow channel of the pump body to avoid damaging the impeller and pump body during the operation of the electric pump.
2. The weight of the pipeline should not be added to the water pump during installation, and there should be separate supporting bodies to avoid affecting the operating performance and service life when the pump deforms.
3. In order to prevent impurities from entering the pump and blocking the flow channel, a filter with a cross-sectional area 3-4 times larger than the suction pipe should be installed before the pump inlet.
4. When a pump is used to transport hot water or other high-temperature liquids, in order to prevent the pump from being subjected to thermal deformation of the pipeline, the pump may not be fixed with foot bolts. When the pipeline system expands and contracts due to heat, the pump and pipeline can move simultaneously.
5. For the convenience and safety of maintenance and use, a regulating valve should be installed at each inlet and outlet pipeline of the pump, and a pressure gauge should be installed near each inlet and outlet of the pump to ensure that the pump operates within the rated range and ensures its normal operation and service life.
Starting, running, and stopping
(1) Start up and operation:
1. Inject water and exhaust, open the inlet valve, release the air nozzle cover on the automatic exhaust valve to allow the liquid to fully enter the pump chamber. The automatic exhaust valve on the top of the water pump motor will automatically exhaust the air inside the motor, and then close automatically.
2. Close the outlet valve of the pipeline to reduce the starting current.
3. Check if all parts are normal.
4. Connect the power and start to determine the correct direction of operation.
5. Gradually adjust the opening of the outlet valve to ensure that the pump operates within the rated performance range as much as possible.
6. If there is any abnormality during the operation of the pump, it should be stopped immediately for inspection and troubleshooting.
7. Check if the motor current value and temperature rise meet the required range.
(2) Parking
1. Close the valve of the pump output pipeline.
2. Cut off the power and stop the motor from running.
3. Close the inlet valve.
4. If the pump is not used for a long time, the liquid inside the electric pump should be drained completely.

(1) Preparation and inspection before starting
1. Check whether the grounding device of the shielded motor and starting equipment is good and complete, whether the wiring is correct, and whether the contact is reliable.
2. For newly installed and long-term credit shielded motors, the insulation resistance of the motor stator winding to ground should be checked before use.
3. It is necessary to regularly inspect the exhaust valve of the electric pump to ensure that it can work properly. When there is gas trapped in the pump, it can automatically drain it, so that the electric pump can be truly filled with pumped liquid
(2) Maintenance and upkeep during operation
1. Regularly record changes in power supply voltage and voltage imbalance. Excessive or insufficient power supply voltage, as well as unbalanced three-phase voltage resulting in current imbalance, can cause motor overheating or other abnormal phenomena, leading to damage.
2. Regularly record the load current and imbalance of the electric pump. When an electric pump malfunctions, it mostly reflects a sharp increase in the current of the stator winding, causing the motor to overheat.
3. Regularly record the temperature of the wheel fluid in the pipeline to ensure that the actual infusion temperature is lower than or equal to the specified infusion temperature, and to avoid the electric pump running in an over temperature state for a long time, which may reduce the service life of the motor.
4. Regularly record the pressure gauge values at the inlet and outlet ends of the electric pump. The pressure gauge value at the inlet must not be less than zero. The difference between the pressure gauge values at the outlet and the inlet must comply with the specified pressure values.
5. Before each use, the electric pump should check whether the automatic exhaust valve on the top of the motor is intact and whether the air nozzle cover is loose to ensure that it meets the requirements of automatic exhaust. Due to the long-term operation of the pump, water molecules are stirred and impacted at high speed inside the electric pump. At the same time, the medium being transported has a certain temperature, so the liquid will produce gasification phenomenon, causing the graphite bearing to be in a dehydrated state, that is, dry friction. Dry friction is extremely easy to damage the bearing and reduce its service life.
6. Pay attention to the odor, vibration, and noise of the electric pump. The winding of the motor will produce a burnt smell of insulation due to high temperature. Typical mechanical failures may manifest as vibration and noise. Therefore, it was found that the abnormality was caused by an immediate power outage for inspection.
7. Regularly check the circulating fluid path of the electric pump and whether there is any blockage in the filtering device to prevent scale and rust on the filter screen.
8. Measure the gap between graphite bearings and bearings during regular maintenance to ensure even clearance and reliable operation between the stator shielding sleeve and rotor shielding sleeve. In general, the following table is limited. If it exceeds the specifications in the table, it should be repaired and replaced.

9. Regularly check the clearance between the impeller mouth ring and the pump body, as the clearance will directly affect the performance of the electric pump. If the clearance is too large, replace the impeller in a timely manner.

Precautions
