The PRC passive oil skimmer is equipped with an oil suction device that can float up and down with the liquid level and always remain in the oil layer. It allows light non-aqueous liquids to permeate through the oleophilic and hydrophobic membrane layer and flow into the oil storage tank connected to the skimmer. In general, the PRC skimmer takes 4-6 hours to fill the bottom oil storage tank, then manually remove the skimmer from the well, open the valve at the bottom of the oil storage tank, and discharge the recovered waste oil into the recycling facility. If there is a large amount of waste oil in the well, it may only take 15 minutes to fill it up. When there are a large amount of impurities and particulate matter in the well, a filter sleeve can also be installed to protect the oil skimmer.
