1、 Two different drying processes for paste like materials (such as sludge):
Depending on the final disposal purpose of the material, it can be semi dried or fully processed. Half drying refers to the process where the moisture content after drying reaches a certain level and is directly discharged, making it easier for the next process (such as direct incineration, where the heat generated by sludge incineration can be sent to the dryer) to use. The fully dried process refers to the process where a portion of the dry material is returned to the feed inlet and mixed with the wet material before being sent to the dryer. The resulting material is completely dry.
2、 Drying machine structure:
The paste like material dryer is a set of hollow spiral discs. The discs are connected by a hollow shaft, which is fixed to the discs at both ends through bearings. It is connected to steam through a rotary joint. The transmission device of the dryer is installed at one end of the stator, consisting of a motor, reducer, coupling, etc. The material to be dried flows into one end of the dryer, passes through the gap between the turntable and the stator, and reaches the other end. It then flows out through the discharge valve at the bottom. Through the contact heat transfer on the surface of the turntable, the moisture contained in the material is evaporated. Scrapers are installed between the turntables to prevent clumping and adhesion to the discs. The water vapor released by the material accumulates on the dome and is discharged through the exhaust pipe.
