QBY fluorine lined pneumatic diaphragm pumpDesign Description

1. QBY fluorine lined pneumatic diaphragm pump is powered by compressed air.
2. QBY fluorine lined pneumatic diaphragm pump is a type of displacement pump that causes volume changes due to the reciprocating deformation of the diaphragm. Its working principle is similar to that of a plunger pump. Due to the characteristics of the working principle of diaphragm pumps, diaphragm pumps have the following features:
(1) The pump will not overheat: compressed air is used as the power source, and during exhaust, it is a process of expansion and heat absorption. The temperature of the pneumatic pump decreases during operation, and no harmful gases are discharged.
(2) No electric sparks will be generated: Pneumatic diaphragm pumps do not use electricity as power and are grounded to prevent electrostatic sparks.
(3) It can be achieved through liquid containing particles: because it works in a volumetric manner and the inlet is a ball valve, it is not easily blocked.
(4) The shear force on the material is extremely low: how it is sucked in and expelled during operation, so the agitation of the material is minimal, suitable for the transportation of unstable substances.
(5) The flow rate can be adjusted by installing a throttle valve at the material outlet.
(6) It has the function of self-priming.
(7) It can run empty without any danger.
(8) Can work underwater.
(9) The fluids that can be transported are extremely diverse, ranging from low viscosity to high viscosity, and from corrosive to viscous.
(10) There is no complex control system, no cables, fuses, etc.
(11) Small in size, lightweight, and easy to move.
(12) No lubrication is required, so maintenance is simple and there will be no pollution to the working environment due to dripping.
(13) The pump can always maintain high efficiency and will not decrease due to wear and tear.
(14) 100% energy utilization, when the outlet is closed, the pump automatically stops, causing equipment movement, wear, overload, and heating.
(15) Without a dynamic seal, maintenance is easy and leakage is avoided. There are no dead spots during work.

QBY fluorine lined pneumatic diaphragm pumpUsage requirements

1. Diameter configuration of suction and discharge pipes for QBY fluorine lined pneumatic diaphragm pump:
(1) The diameter of the suction pipe shall not be smaller than the diameter of the pump inlet end. When transporting high viscosity fluids, the diameter of the suction pipe should preferably be larger than the diameter of the pump inlet. The suction piping at the inlet must be durable and free of wrinkles in order to generate a high vacuum state.
(2) The diameter of the outlet piping should be at least equal to the outlet diameter, or slightly larger to reduce friction losses. All piping and joints must be sealed and leak proof, otherwise it will reduce the self-priming capacity of the pump.
2. Installation position, height, pipeline layout, gas supply and other matters of QBY fluorine lined pneumatic diaphragm pump:
If installation details are ignored, long-term careful planning, research, and selection may still lead to poor pumping performance and affect the service life of the pump.
(1) Location: Noise, safety, and other logical factors usually require the installation location of the equipment. Parallel installation with conflicting requirements may cause blockages in the usage area, affecting the installation of other pumps.
(2) Usage: Firstly, the position of the pump must be convenient for use, which will facilitate daily inspection and debugging by maintenance personnel.
(3) Gas supply: Each pump should have a ventilation pipe, and the ventilation pipe should be able to provide sufficient air volume to achieve the ideal pumping flow rate. The air pressure depends on different pumping requirements, but should not exceed 7 BAR.
(4) Installation height: Please fully consider the self-priming capacity of the pump to avoid the problem of reduced self-priming.
(5) Pipeline: The pump position can only be finally determined after considering every possible location where pipeline problems may occur.
3. Other installation and usage instructions:
The best installation should be chosen at the connection of the shortest and straightest inlet and outlet pipelines. Extra bends and fittings should be avoided as much as possible. The pump body should be able to independently support all pipelines. Moreover, the pipelines should be arranged in an orderly manner to avoid stress on the pump body pipeline device.
Flexible hoses can be installed to eliminate stress caused by the natural reciprocating motion of the pump. To connect the pump body to a fixed base, placing a buffer pad between the pump body and the base will help reduce pump body vibration.
If a pneumatic diaphragm pump is to be used for pumping fine media, it must be confirmed that all pipeline joints are sealed and leak proof, and the self-priming head must be within the capacity of the pump.
To stop the operation of QBY fluorine lined pneumatic diaphragm pump in emergency situations, simply close the "shut-off" valve installed on the trachea. An appropriate functional valve will terminate the pump's gas supply, thereby preventing output. The "cut-off" valve should be installed not far from the pump to cope with emergency situations.

QBY fluorine lined pneumatic diaphragm pumpsetup script

1. Installation and startup:
Place the diaphragm pump as close to the product as possible to minimize the length of the suction pipe and reduce the number of configured parts, without reducing the pipeline specifications. In order to extend the lifespan of the diaphragm, it is necessary to keep the pump as close as possible to the liquid being pumped. When the inlet pressure exceeds 10 feet (3 meters) of liquid column, a set of pressure relief adjustment device needs to be installed to extend the lifespan of the diaphragm. If installing a hard pipeline, a short hose should be used to connect the pump and pipeline. Flexible hoses can slow down the vibration and distortion of pipelines, and it is recommended to use a pressure regulator tank to further reduce the pulse in the fluid.
2. Gas supply:
The gas supply pressure of metal diaphragm pumps shall not exceed 125 PSI (8.6 BAR), and the gas supply pressure of plastic pumps shall not exceed 100 PSI (6.9 BAR). Connect the inlet of the pump to a gas source with sufficient capacity and pressure that meets the design requirements. If the gas supply line is a hard pipeline, connect a short hose between the pump and the pipeline to reduce distortion. In addition to the air intake cover, the weight of the air intake duct and pressure regulating filter must also be supported by some method. If the pipeline is not supported, it may damage the pump. A pressure regulating valve must be installed to ensure that the gas supply pressure does not exceed the specified range.
3. Pre operation inspection:
Before operating the QBY fluorine lined pneumatic diaphragm pump, check all fasteners to prevent looseness, tighten any loose areas to prevent leakage, and fix them using the method described in the card attached to the pump.
4. Diaphragm pump intake and start-up:
When starting, the air valve opens about 1/2 to 3/4 turn. After starting the pump, open the air valve to increase the air flow rate to achieve the required flow rate.
5. Pneumatic diaphragm pump exhaust:
If the diaphragm is damaged, the extracted liquid or gas will enter the air port of the pump and be discharged into the atmosphere. When extracting hazardous or toxic substances, it is necessary to discharge them through pipelines to a suitable location for safe disposal.
If the pump is submerged in liquid for operation, the gas must be discharged from the liquid surface, and the exhaust pipe must not be less than 1 "(2.45CM). Reducing the size of the exhaust pipe will limit the gas flow rate and lower the pump utilization rate. When the material level is higher than the pump, the discharge outlet needs to be located at a higher position to prevent siphon phenomenon.
At a certain temperature and humidity, the emitted gas may freeze, and using gas drying can eliminate most of these problems.
6. After using the pneumatic diaphragm pump:
If used for transporting substances that are prone to solidification, in order to prevent damage to the pump, the pump should be thoroughly cleaned after each use. After use, the product left in the pump has dried or stuck to the pump, which can cause problems with the diaphragm and valve before the next start-up. At freezing temperatures, the pump must be drained after any use.
Lubrication requirements for valve of QBY fluorine lined pneumatic diaphragm pump
The air distribution valve and guide valve of QBY fluorine lined pneumatic diaphragm pump are designed without lubricating oil, which is the ideal working state. In some cases, such as personal hobbies or very poor air quality, the supply of compressed air can also be lubricated. After the compressed air supply system is properly lubricated, the air system of the pump can work accordingly. Proper lubrication requires the use of an air pipeline lubricator, set to deliver one drop of cleaner free oil every 20 SCFM when the pump is working. The performance curve of the pump can be queried for the opening amount.
The feed pipe of QBY fluorine lined pneumatic diaphragm pump generally does not need to be equipped with valves. Simply choose a pipe with a diameter that matches the diaphragm pump. Pay attention to the strength of the feed pipe, otherwise the pipe will collapse during operation, affecting the feed. Generally, a valve is added to the discharge pipe, and depending on the on-site conditions, a manual valve or an automatic valve is installed. The selection of pipelines and valves should pay attention to matching the material properties (such as acidity, alkalinity, corrosiveness, etc.).
The air circuit generally needs to be equipped with three components (pressure regulation, drainage, lubrication), and generally imported pumps do not need to add lubricating oil. Ball valve, flow regulating valve (optional).
If strict requirements are required, it is also necessary to install stabilizers, pressure gauges, leak detectors, etc.
If solenoid valves, metering controllers, etc. are installed, the QBY fluorine lined pneumatic diaphragm pump can also be converted into a metering pump for remote control of feeding.
