Evaporative Light Scattering Detector (ELSD) is a universal detector that detects any sample with lower volatility than the mobile phase, and the sample does not need to have light absorption characteristics.
Can solve the detection difficulties of HPLC, such as phospholipids, sugars, undifferentiated fatty acids, and amino acids, without the need for pre column and post column derivatization;
Signal response is related to sample quality and can obtain quality information of unknown substances;
Wide gradient and solvent compatibility, no solvent peak interference (multiple solvent gradients can obtain stable baselines, no solvent peak interference, and are less affected by temperature);
When separating complex samples, appropriate modifiers such as ammonium acetate, glacial acetic acid, formic acid can be added to the mobile phase TFA, Ammonia water, triethylamine, etc.
