Equipment Overview

Intelligent home appliance control system
The intelligent home appliance control system consists of an open-source tablet application gateway, node control module, exhaust fan, and other components.
Based on ZigBee wireless network, home appliances can be remotely controlled through mobile terminals to achieve functions such as temporary and timed automatic switching of appliances.
For example, users can turn on their home water heater in advance, set the appropriate temperature, and use hot water when they get home, saving waiting time.

Intelligent curtain control system
The intelligent curtain control system consists of an open-source tablet application gateway, node control module, electric roller shutter, etc.
Based on ZigBee wireless network, curtains in the home can be controlled through mobile terminals to achieve automatic opening and closing of curtains.

Remote video surveillance system
The remote video surveillance system consists of an open-source tablet application gateway, node control module, and pan tilt camera.
Based on ZigBee wireless network, remote video monitoring of home scenes can be achieved through mobile terminals.
For example, parents can view the baby in the crib through video, and cat owners can also view the cat's daily activities through video.

Intelligent lighting control system
The intelligent lighting control system consists of an open-source tablet application gateway, node control module, lighting, and other components.
Based on ZigBee wireless network, it is possible to remotely control the on/off lights in the home through mobile terminals.
For example, turning off the lights at home with just one click when going out saves time, effort, and is convenient and fast

Environmental monitoring linkage system
The environmental monitoring linkage system consists of an open-source tablet application gateway, node control module, dust sensor, temperature and humidity/light intensity/combustible gas sensor, etc.
Based on ZigBee wireless network, real-time monitoring and viewing of environmental changes on the terminal management system.

Intelligent access control system
The intelligent access control system consists of an open-source tablet application gateway, node control module, and micro electronic control lock.
Based on ZigBee wireless network, doors can be opened remotely through mobile terminals.
For example, during work, if relatives or friends come to visit, there is no need to take a leave to deliver the keys, and relatives or friends can enter remotely.

Intelligent voice control system
The intelligent voice control system consists of an open-source tablet application gateway, node control module, intelligent voice recognition module, etc.
Based on ZigBee wireless network, users can control curtains, lighting, etc. by issuing voice commands.
For example, users can intelligently control home devices by issuing voice commands such as "turn on the lights" and "open the curtains".

Project 1: Monitoring and Alarm Scenarios
Scenario introduction: When only the elderly and children are at home, the elderly have to take care of the children and cook. After being interrupted by children while cooking, it is easy to forget to turn off the fire, water, and even the gas, which poses a hidden danger of gas leakage. Once there is a water leak, gas leak, or fire, the system will immediately notify the owner and call the police. Owners can immediately video check the condition of their homes and solve problems in a timely manner. Students simulate this scenario through the smart home training kit, and use open source tablets and other terminal control devices to turn on the pan tilt camera and view video surveillance in real time. When the concentration of combustible gas around the kit increases, the combustible gas sensor senses an abnormality and triggers an audible and visual alarm light, while also alerting the mobile phone.
