The BH4260 soil content testing box is an instrument box that uses the methylene blue test (MBT) method to determine the soil (active clay) content in drilling fluid, and is widely used in field operations. Add methylene blue solution to the drilling fluid sample (treated with hydrogen peroxide and acidified first) until it reaches saturation and forms a dye ring around the solid suspension droplets on the filter paper. The measurement program used for drilling fluid can be modified to determine the content of each type of solid phase present in drilling fluid by measuring drilling cuttings and commercial soil.
scope of application
Widely used in various oil fields, research institutes, laboratories, and other departments.
Instrument characteristics
High testing accuracy, small repeatability error, stable and reliable, easy to operate, and accurate testing data.
