Excessive speed ratio of belt conveyor can easily lead to malfunctions, such as motor burnout, damage to consumable parts of mechanical transmission, belt or chain breakage, belt slippage, etc. The magnetic switch installed in the speed sensor of the driven part of the belt conveyor cannot be closed or cannot be closed at the normal speed. At this time, the set control system will activate the speed protection circuit according to the inverse time characteristic after a certain delay, causing the main line to perform partial actions and cut off the power supply of the motor to avoid the accident from escalating; In general, the speed sensor alarm is set to 60-70% of the normal speed. When the condition is met, the sensor sends a signal to cut off the circuit.

(2) If the temperature of the belt conveyor is too high, what should be done

When the friction between the belt conveyor drum and the belt causes the temperature to exceed the set limit, the temperature sensor (transmitter) installed closely to the drum sends an overtemperature signal. After the receiver receives the signal, after a certain delay, it causes the main circuit to perform partial actions, cuts off the power supply to the motor, and the belt conveyor automatically stops running, providing temperature protection.

(3) Belt conveyors must be checked and maintained in a timely manner during use. Increase the service life.
