A tensiometer is a widely recognized sensor that can directly and accurately measure the water potential of wet end soil. But many tension meters require complex wiring and data programming to operate properly, let alone subsequent maintenance.
METER has developed the revolutionary sensor TEROS 32, bringing a new way of measurement.

TEROS 32 originates from METER (formerly UMS) in Germany, which is a plug and play tensiometer with accurate and reliable measurement results.
With the ZENTRA Cloud system, almost real-time accurate data can be easily obtained, and all data can be uploaded to the cloud for efficient management and ensuring the normal operation of instruments. No matter where you are, you can immediately extract data and know exactly when to add water or empty it, saving time and money.
The combination of TEROS 32 and TEROS 12 can generate soil moisture release curves in situ.
TEROS 32 uses high-precision piezoelectric sensors that provide higher data resolution and are more robust and durable than previous tensiometers, ensuring year-round field operation.
The sensor does not need to be removed from the soil during the process of adding water or emptying. The most important point is that compared to the previous generation of tensiometers, it responds faster to rapidly changing soil environments, allowing for the measurement of small changes in soil water potential. It can also measure positive and negative pore pressures simultaneously.
