VirCap ® Oligo dT (25) affinity medium is based on rigid polymer microspheres and is mainly used for the purification of messenger RNA (mRNA). The medium matrix is cross-linked polystyrene divinylbenzene PS-DVB. The multi hydroxyl surface coating provides low non-specific binding. The surface contains Poly (dT25) functional groups, which capture mRNA by base pairing with the polyA tail of mRNA. VirCap ® Oligo dT (25) affinity medium can effectively capture and release under standard mRNA purification conditions, reducing process development time and improving productivity. In addition, the selectivity of this medium allows for the reduction of plasmid DNA and other transcriptional mixing components.
- Simple mRNA purification effectively removes plasmid DNA and other IVT components from crude transcription mixture
- Simplified workflow helps maximize efficiency, thereby reducing the complexity of subsequent optimization steps
- Excellent scalability
- No animal derivatives
- VirCap ® The Oligo ligand is manufactured using a synthetic process that does not contain animal components.
