1.1 Scope of Application

The WFB-800 series microcomputer generator transformer combination protection device is mainly suitable for the protection of main equipment in power systems. The WFB-801 device integrates all electrical quantity protections for a generator, the WFB-802 device integrates all electrical quantity protections for a main transformer, the WFB-803 device integrates all electrical quantity protections for a high voltage transformer and excitation transformer (exciter), and the WFB-804 device integrates all non electrical quantity protections for a main transformer and high voltage transformer. It can meet the configuration requirements of dual sets of main protection, dual sets of backup protection, and completely independent non electricity protection for large generator transformer units. At the same time, this series of protections can also be directly connected to the integrated automation system of the power plant.
