6. Working principle
1) Sensing principle
Generally speaking, a sensor is a device that can convert physical or chemical quantities into easily usable electrical signals. The definition of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) is that a sensor is a front-end component in a measurement system that converts input variables into measurable signals. After being converted into measurable analog electrical signals by sensors, physical quantities undergo complex post-processing, including filtering, amplification, digitization, normalization, storage, forwarding, and finally enter the backend processing system.
Suzhou Mulan Electronics has combined "active active RFID technology" with "sensing technology" to create a groundbreaking new product - the "Mulan Sensor Tag" series. The common feature of this series of products is the addition of various "sensors" on the functional platform of traditional active tags, achieving functions such as "sensing", "identification", and "wireless transmission" in one, greatly expanding the application field of traditional RFID technology.
2) Sensor type
The temperature sensor used in the ML-T110 sensing tag can be specified by the user. Currently, we use DS18B20 as the temperature sensor and SHT1x digital temperature sensor as the temperature and humidity sensor. This type of sensor has a high temperature coefficient of resistance, sensitive induction, high resistivity, small component size, and the resistance value changes linearly with temperature. Within the temperature measurement range, it has stable physical and chemical properties, good long-term reproducibility, and high measurement accuracy. If users have special needs, they can specify sensors themselves.
3) Measurement range and accuracy
The ML-T110 measures a temperature range of -40 to+85 degrees. The temperature measurement accuracy is 0.1 ℃, and the humidity measurement accuracy is 2H%. If a wider temperature range is required, special customization is required.
4) Measurement time interval
It takes at least 1.5 seconds. If faster is needed, special customized development is required.
5) Working principle
The active identification card continuously sends out wireless signals (3 times per second, the transmission power can be modified according to user requirements), and can transmit over long distances. The wireless signal is encoded, and each identification card's code is unique, containing sensing data obtained through sensing devices. If the wireless signal emitted by the identification card is within the effective measurement range of the card reader, the wireless signal is received and decoded by the card reader through the antenna on the card reader, and then the card reader sends the information to the management system or other monitoring systems through the TTL232/RS232/RS485/CAN bus/Ethernet/Wiegand-26/Wiegand-34/USB/GPRS interface.
