The power battery compression testing machine is used to simulate the situation where various types of power lithium batteries are subjected to compression or needle puncture during transportation, storage, and use, and artificially present the different conditions that may occur when the battery is subjected to strong external force compression;

In the event of a battery fire or explosion during testing, the device should be able to ensure absolute personal safety and not cause harm to the testing environment. When conducting compression tests on batteries, they must not explode or catch fire in order to be qualified.

Structural product features:

1. Equipment safety explosion-proof function, convenient performance, and environmental performance

1.1 The whole machine testing part should be placed in an independent testing compartment, surrounded by solid walls and equipped with explosion-proof doors. There should be an open space of 2-3 meters in front and behind the compartment, and the controller should be separated from the testing part to achieve the purpose of safety testing.

1.2. Experimental model type: Three beams, four columns, and four nuts horizontal mechanism. This structure has significant advantages: all three beams have a height of 4
5 # cast steel parts, with sufficient strength and rigidity; The chrome plating on the surface of the column enhances its wear resistance, providing a spacious workspace, compact structure, and sensitive movement

1.3. Maximum extrusion force: 200kN.

1.4 Operating System: There are two operating modes: manual or automatic (operated by the upper computer); The main body of the equipment is separated from the control console, and the operators are kept away from the testing area to maximize the protection of the safety of the testing personnel;

1.5. The structure of the testing machine is divided into two parts: the inner box, the middle compartment, and the outer box; Inner box material: High grade stainless steel plate (thickness of 1.5mm), welded all around the stainless steel, and all inner boxes are covered with PTFE tape with high temperature resistance and flame retardant properties. This not only protects the inner box during testing, but also makes it easy to clean after testing, and the PTFE tape is easy to replace; Outer box material: cold-rolled steel plate with baked paint treatment (thickness 1.5mm); The intermediate layer serves as a buffer and insulation function. When the air pressure inside the box is too high, it can effectively alleviate the impact of pressure on the outer box. At the same time, when the combustion temperature of the tested sample inside the box is too high, it can effectively interrupt the transmission of temperature, protecting the personal safety of the testing personnel.

1.6. Explosion proof doors are installed at the back of the box, and explosion-proof door locks are installed. When the pressure inside the box is too high (about 30kgf), the explosion-proof door will open, which can effectively relieve pressure and explosion. The explosion-proof door is easy to open and close, with good sealing connection and easy operation. Within two meters behind the explosion-proof door, there is an empty space and no debris is allowed to be stacked;

1.7 Front box door: single door, left opening. The front box door is equipped with a safety power-off induction switch. When the box door is opened, the equipment control part loses power and cannot be started for subsequent operations. Only when the box door is closed can the control program be started for subsequent operations, providing true protection.

1.8 Observation Window: The size of the window is 400 * 400mm, and the structure is double-layer tempered glass. Explosion proof film is added inside and outside the glass, and the thickness of the tempered glass is 10mm. A square anti ejection mesh cover can be installed between the double-layer glass to observe the internal testing situation while providing protection.

1.9 Test port: located at the back of the box, convenient for external voltage and temperature acquisition devices.

1.10. Extrusion fixture: A set of extrusion fixtures shall be configured according to the requirements of GB/T 31485-2015 for special-shaped extrusion plates.

1.11. Form of extruded plate for power battery cells: According to the requirements of GB/T 31485-2015, it is a semi cylindrical body with a radius of 75mm, and the length of the semi cylindrical body is greater than the size of the battery being extruded.

1.12. Squeezing direction: perpendicular to the direction of the battery plates.

1.13. Acupuncture fixture: Install a set of acupuncture fixtures according to the requirements of GB/T 31485-2015 standard.

1.14. Adjustable test bench: The test bench used for placing batteries is electrically adjustable, with a height adjustment of 0-400mm and a maximum load capacity of 400kg.

1.15 Lighting Design: The top of the test chamber is equipped with an LED explosion-proof lighting lamp, which is dustproof, explosion-proof, fireproof, and the explosion-proof lamp housing is easy to replace.

1.16. The extrusion testing machine is equipped with an "emergency stop" button, which facilitates emergency handling in critical situations. The "emergency stop" button is used to stop all actions of the compression testing machine in emergency situations to prevent harm from occurring.

1.17. Equipment force support part: The bottom of the equipment is equipped with fixed universal rollers and adjustable support feet for fixed positions;

1.18 Monitoring System: Install Hikvision card type network cameras in the test box for observation and recording. The cameras can clearly capture image data as part of the test report, and the camera data can be saved.
