Functional Features  



The fully automatic oil medium loss and resistivity tester is based on the RAM9 platform, with high testing accuracy and fast speed.

The fully automatic oil medium loss and resistivity tester adopts medium frequency induction heating and PID temperature control algorithm. This heating method has the advantages of non-contact between the oil cup and the heating element, uniform heating, fast speed, and easy control, which strictly controls the temperature within the preset temperature error range.

The oil cup adopts a three electrode structure that complies with the national standard GB/T5564-2007, with a spacing of 2mm between electrodes, which can eliminate the influence of stray capacitance and leakage on the dielectric loss test results.

The internal standard capacitor is an SF6 gas filled three-point polar capacitor, whose dielectric loss and capacitance are not affected by environmental temperature, humidity, etc., ensuring the accuracy of the instrument even after long-term use.

The AC test power supply adopts AC-DC-AC conversion method, effectively avoiding the influence of mains voltage and frequency fluctuations on the accuracy of dielectric loss testing. Even if the generator generates electricity, the instrument can operate correctly.

Empty electrode cup calibration function. Measure the capacitance and dielectric loss factor of the empty electrode cup to determine its cleaning and assembly condition. Calibration data is automatically saved for accurate calculation of relative permittivity and DC resistivity.

Equipped with comprehensive protection functions. When there is overvoltage, overcurrent, or high-voltage short circuit, the instrument can quickly cut off the high voltage and issue a warning message. When the temperature sensor fails or is not connected, a warning message is issued.

A temperature limiting relay is installed inside the medium frequency induction heating furnace. When the temperature exceeds 120 degrees, the relay is released and the heating stops.

The experimental parameters are easy to set, with a temperature setting range of 0-120 ℃, an AC voltage setting range of 200-2200V, and a DC voltage setting range of 0-500V.

Adopting a large screen TFT pure color LCD touch display, the display is clear, and with simple settings, the instrument can automatically perform tests and automatically store and print test results.

Equipped with a real-time clock, the test date and time can be saved, displayed, and printed along with the test results.

Due to the inherent reasons of the test sample, there are many factors that can cause errors in the oil medium loss value. The following test methods are extracted from the measurement standard for the dielectric loss factor of liquid insulation materials in GB/T 5654-2007 for reference only.


  testing voltageThe AC voltage depends on the liquid being measured, with an electric field strength between 0.03 kV/mm and 1 kV/mm, using a sine voltage with a frequency between 40-62 Hz.


  measureAfter the oil cup is filled with the oil sample, the measurement of the loss factor begins when the temperature difference between the inner electrode and the required test temperature is not greater than ± 1 ℃, and only voltage is applied during the measurement. After completing the initial measurement, pour out the oil sample and fill the oil cup with a second sample of the same oil. The operation process is the same as the first time, but the washing is omitted. Repeat the measurement after heating, and the difference between the two readings should not exceed the sum of 0.010% and 25% of the larger of the two measurements. If the requirements cannot be met, the same oil sample should be tested again until the difference between adjacent readings does not exceed 0.010% plus 25% of the larger of the two measurements. Only then will the measured results be considered valid. After Zui, take the lower of the two valid measurements as the loss factor of the liquid sample.
