I. Overview
The YRKK series 6KV and 10KV wound rotor three-phase asynchronous motors are a series of large and medium-sized high-voltage motor products established by our company based on ABB's high-voltage three-phase asynchronous motor technology level standards and our company's years of high-voltage motor manufacturing experience. The power level, installation size, and electrical performance of this series of high-voltage asynchronous motors all comply with the national standard GB755 "Basic Technical Requirements for Rotating Electrical Machines" and the International Electrotechnical Commission IEC standard. The mechanical dimensions and tolerances of each part of this series of motors comply with the national standard GB1800-1804 and the International Committee for Standardization ISO standard. The enclosure protection level of this series of motors is IP44 for enclosed motors according to G84942.1 and IEC34-5 "Classification of Motor Enclosure Protection". It can also be made into IP54 according to the user's requirements. If the user needs other protection levels, they can negotiate separately. The cooling method for this series of motors is IC611 according to G81993 and IEC34-6 "Motor Cooling Methods" standards. If the user requests other cooling methods, they can negotiate separately. The basic installation method of this series of motors is a horizontal structure with feet (IMB3), which complies with the provisions of GB997 and IEC34-7 "Motor Structure and Installation Type Code".
This series of motors has the advantages of high efficiency, energy saving, low noise, small vibration, light weight, reliable performance, and easy installation and maintenance.
This series of motors can provide a large starting torque with a small starting current; The capacity of the feeder is insufficient to start the squirrel cage rotor motor; Long start-up time and frequent start-up; Need for small-scale highways, etc. Such as dragging winches, rolling mills, wire drawing machines, etc.
This series of motors adopts F-class insulation structure, with bearing structure designed according to IP54, using grease lubrication, and can add and drain oil without stopping the machine.
This series of motors has a protection level of IP44 or IIP54 (see GB4942.1), a cooling method of IC611 (see GB/T1993), a structure and installation type of IMB3 (see GB997), and a continuous rating based on the continuous working system (S1). The rated frequency of the motor is 50Hz, and the rated voltage is 6KV, 10KV. Other voltage levels or special requirements can be agreed upon by the manufacturer when ordering.

Taking YRKK500-4 as an example: YRKK represents a wound rotor asynchronous motor with a closed air air cooler.

5、 Structural description
The YRKK series motor adopts a box structure, with a closed air/air cooler installed on the top of the motor, with a protection level of IP44, a cooling method of IC611 or IC616, an installation type of IMB3, a power frequency of 50Hz, a power voltage of 6000V, an allowable voltage deviation range of ± 5%, and a rated frequency of 50Hz. The center height is 355mm~630mm, and the power range is 185kW~5000kW; Quota type S1, insulation level F (assessed according to level B). The stator wiring method is Y-connection, and the rotor winding is made of pure copper wire and uses F-class insulation material.
There are two types of bearings: rolling bearings and sliding bearings, depending on the power and speed of the motor.
This series of motors can be used to drive various types of machinery such as mills, rolling mills, crushers, fans, water pumps, blowers, etc.
This series of high-voltage motors is suitable for indoor environments with an altitude not exceeding 1000m, an ambient temperature below 40 ℃, low dust, no corrosive and explosive gases such as steam, acid, alkali, etc. If there is a lot of dust in the operating environment, the dust inside the motor should be cleaned regularly and the dust prevention work of the bearing should be done well.
This series of motors complies with GB755 "Rating and Performance of Rotating Electrical Machines" and the regulations of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).
6、 Motor starting
The rotor design of squirrel cage motor adopts advanced calculation technology to calculate the starting temperature rise and stress of the rotor, in order to prevent early damage of the motor due to excessive starting load.
Suggestions for users to verify: (1) The moment of inertia of the rotating part of the driven mechanical equipment (converted to motor speed) should not exceed the value of the (J load) item in the technical data sheet. (2) The user's power grid should ensure that the motor terminal voltage during the starting process of the motor is not less than 85% of the rated voltage. (3) The resistance torque characteristics of the driven machinery are those of water pumps and blowers.
Under the above conditions, the motor is allowed to start continuously twice in the actual cold state. The motor stops naturally between the two starts, or starts once in the same hot state as the motor. The additional restart of the motor should be after 4 hours of parking.
If the moment of inertia of the mechanical rotating part that requires motor transmission exceeds the (J load) value in the technical data sheet, or if frequent starting of the motor is required, or if there is a possibility of starting the motor with a load, please contact the manufacturing company in advance for consultation. For special design to ensure the reliable operation of the motor.
