Application Description

Electric contact pressure gauges are widely used in industrial sectors such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, and power stations, as well as in mechanical and electrical equipment to measure the pressure of various liquid media without explosion hazards. Usually, instruments can be used in conjunction with corresponding electrical components such as relays and contactors to achieve automatic control and signaling (alarm) of the measured (controlled) pressure system.

Structural principle
The instrument consists of a measuring system, an indicating device, a magnetic assisted contact device, a housing, an adjusting device, and a junction box (plug socket).
The working principle of the instrument is based on the spring tube in the measurement system, which is forced to produce corresponding elastic deformation and displacement at the end of the spring tube under the pressure of the measured medium. With the help of a pull rod, it is transmitted through a gear transmission mechanism and amplified. The measured value is gradually indicated on the dial by the indicator pointer (along with the contact) fixed on the gear shaft. At the same time, when it comes into contact with the contact (upper or lower limit) on the set pointer (dynamic disconnection or dynamic closure), it causes the circuit in the control system to be disconnected or connected, achieving the purpose of automatic control and signaling alarm.
