1、 Overview
ZH type self-priming chemical centrifugal pump is a single-stage single suction self-priming chemical centrifugal pump developed and produced by our company based on similar products at home and abroad. The pump is suitable for conveying corrosive media with temperatures ranging from 0 ℃ to 150 ℃ and solid particles less than 3 millimeters.
If the conveying medium contains particles or fibers of more than 3 millimeters, our ZW series non clogging self-priming pump can be used.
The performance range of the pump is: flow rate of 1.6~400m3/h, head of 5~125m. The suction height is within 5 meters.
According to the different media being transported, the material for the liquid contact part of the ZH type self-priming chemical centrifugal pump can be made of castings, cast steel, 1Cr18Ni9Ti, 1Cr18Ni12Mo2Ti, 316, 316L and other materials.

5、 Structural description
The ZH type self-priming chemical centrifugal pump is mainly composed of pump body, impeller, pump cover, shaft, bracket, mechanical seal, shaft sleeve and other parts. Please refer to the structural diagram of ZH type self-priming chemical centrifugal pump for details.
The pump has good self-priming effect, truly achieving "one-time drainage, lifelong self-priming".
The ZH type self-priming chemical centrifugal pump is equipped with a thickened high stiffness pump shaft and three imported bearings, ensuring smooth operation and no noise. The exterior is equipped with a combination mechanical seal and a water cooling device, greatly improving its service life.
The rotation direction of the pump is counterclockwise from the suction end face.
6、 Pump installation
1. Whether the installation of the pump is reasonable has a great impact on the normal operation and service life of the pump. Therefore, careful calibration must be carried out before installation, and the appearance and installation dimensions of the pump are detailed in the ZH type self-priming chemical centrifugal pump size diagram and table.
2. The suction and discharge pipelines of the pump must be supported with additional brackets, and the pump must not be used as a support.
3. The installation location should be convenient for patrol inspection and maintenance.
4. The inlet and outlet pipelines must be equipped with valves for maintenance purposes.
5. In order of installation:
a、 Place the unit on a foundation with embedded foot bolts, calibrate the unit with a spirit level, and tighten the foot nuts.
b、 Pour concrete into the bottom seat and anchor bolt holes, and after the concrete dries, recheck the levelness of the pump shaft.
c、 Connect the inlet and outlet pipelines, check the coaxiality of the coupling again, and measure the difference between the upper, lower, left, and right outer circles of the coupling, which should not exceed 0.1mm. The gap between the end faces of the two couplings should not exceed 0.3mm within one rotation.
d、 Connect and turn on the cooling water.
e、 Jog the electric motor to ensure that the direction of the motor is consistent with the specified direction of the pump.
f、 Fill the pump with liquid through the upper liquid hole of the pump.
7、 Start, stop, disassemble, and assemble
1. Start up
a、 Turn on the cooling water and rotate the coupling by hand, there should be no rubbing phenomenon.
b、 Check the lubricating oil inside the bracket and the first filling of the pump chamber. (No need to refill when starting in the future)
c、 Start the motor and loosen the filling hole cover without tightening it to facilitate exhaust. The valve on the outlet pipe should also be slightly opened at the same time. After the water pump is discharged, slowly adjust and tighten the filling hole cover. It usually takes 2-10 minutes from start-up to water discharge.
d、 The temperature rise of the pump bearing and motor should be checked regularly, and the temperature rise of the bearing should not exceed 75 ℃.
e、 Cut off the power supply.
c、 After the standby mode stops, turn off the cooling water.
2. Dismantling
When the pump needs maintenance due to abnormal conditions, it should be disassembled in order
a、 Remove the oil drain screw on the bracket and drain all the lubricating oil inside the bracket.
b、 Remove the nut from the bracket and pump body, take off the pump body, turn left to unscrew the impeller nut, and take out the impeller and key.
c、 Remove the pump cover, coaxial sleeve, mechanical seal, etc. from the pump shaft
d、 Unscrew the bolts on the sealing cover, remove the sealing cover, mechanical seal dynamic ring, and shaft sleeve. Unscrew the connecting bolts between the sealing box and the pump cover, and remove the mechanical seal static ring.
e、 Remove the bearing end caps from both ends of the bracket, take out the pump shaft and bearings, and then remove the bearings from the pump shaft.

3. Assembly
The assembly sequence is opposite to the disassembly sequence.
8、 Attention when using mechanical seals
This model of pump can be equipped with different forms of mechanical seals according to different usage conditions, such as single end flat balanced and unbalanced types, double end balanced and unbalanced types, external mechanical seals, etc. Depending on the selected sealing type, the usage method and precautions should be different. Please refer to the mechanical seal installation and use manual, GB3215-82 "General Technical Conditions for Centrifugal Pumps Used in Refineries, Chemical and Petrochemical Processes" for specific situations. The following are some general precautions to be taken:
A、 Due to the fact that the mechanical seal is suitable for use in media containing suspended particles when it leaves the factory, please add cooling water when using it.
B、 Disassembling mechanical seals should be done carefully, and it is not allowed to use hammers, iron tools, etc. to strike, in order to avoid damaging the sealing surfaces of the dynamic and static rings.
C、 If there is dirt that cannot be removed, try to remove the dirt, rinse it clean before disassembling to avoid damaging the sealing components.
D、 Before installing mechanical seals, all sealing components should be checked for failure or damage, and if so, repaired or replaced.
E、 The relative friction sealing surface between the moving ring and the stationary ring should be strictly inspected, and no minor scratches, bumps or other defects are allowed. All other components, including the pump body, impeller, sealing chamber, etc., should be washed clean before assembly, especially the end faces of the moving and stationary rings. They should be carefully wiped clean with a clean, soft cloth or cotton yarn, and then coated with a layer of clean grease or engine oil.
F、 During assembly, attention should be paid to eliminating deviations. When tightening screws, they should be tightened evenly to avoid deviation and seal failure.
G、 Correctly adjust the compression amount of the spring. After the pump is installed, when manually pulling the rotor, you should feel that the sealing spring has a certain compression amount and can rotate quickly and flexibly without feeling tight. If it feels too tight or cannot be moved, it should be loosened appropriately.
H、 Before starting, the cooling water should be turned on to fill the sealing chamber with sealing liquid. When parking, stop the pump first and then turn off the sealed cooling water.
